    They explained at the top of the broadcast that Guerrero is more beat up than the other players, so switching the two for this game would give Vlad a break.

    Also, Juan Rivera is a pretty good fielder, too – he threw out 2 or 3 runners at the plate this year. There was quite a bit of discussion here after the Angels loss to the Yanks in game one that Rivera would have made the catch that Anderson missed which led to the Yanks win. Scioscia sticks with Anderson because Garrett hits better when he plays than he does as DH.
