Terrific recovery by Buerhle to end the inning — double play and a quick K. He is impressive tonight. Washburn was very good as well, but visibly ran out of gas in the 5th (I guess serious illness will do that to a guy).
As someone with nostalgia for the quicker-paced, lower-scoreing games of the 1980s, I guess this is the series for me.
