Ortiz Hits Two and Ties Two

David Ortiz hits his second home run of the game, and ties Ernie Banks and Eddie Mathews at 512 for 22nd on the all-time list. It’s not every day that a play ties two Hall of Famers in home runs. I’m surprised they are not talking about it on ESPN.

The Red Sox lead the Yankees 4-0 as Steven Wright is pitching a gem.

Why the heck is this guy retiring again? He could easily land an extension for 2/40 million I would think and 600 HR would be in the cards. He could also make a run at 2000 RBI or at least move into the top 10. 3000 hits seems out of reach but even Ruth did not hit 3000 and he could pass him.
