Former MLB pitcher Ruben Quevedo died at the way too young age of 37:
Ruben Quevedo has died of a heart attack at the age of 37, according to the Venezuelan publication Lider.
My thoughts go out to his family and friends.
Quevedo’s best season came in 2001, when he went 4-5 with a 4.61 ERA in ten starts. It was his only year with a high strikeout rate. He tended to walk a ton of batters and give up home runs, so once his strikeout numbers declined, it was very tough for him to succeed.
