Where Was Sandra Bullock?

Royals reliever Blaine Boyd played the hero on the Royals bus:

The Royals had a much closer — and much more dangerous — ice encounter when the team arrived in Toronto on Sunday. While busing from the airport to the hotel, a piece of ice flew off the team’s first bus and smashed the windshield of the second. Reliever Blaine Boyer had to grab the wheel after the driver was hurt.

There was snow on the ground here in Western MA all day today. I’ve lived in southern New England all my life, and this is the latest I remember seeing snow. It’s been just miserable, but at least we don’t have falling ice trying to take out stadiums and major league teams!

I remember a May snowstorm in Massachusetts in the late 70’s. 9 inches in some places. Boston got a dusting. Connecticut got 20 inches. Didnt last long. That was before global warming. Now the suns going into a 30 year dimming and its going to get far worse. Think Little Ice Age.
