Ballpark Food

It sounds like a trip to see the Gateway Grizzlies is in order.

We kid you not. The Gateway Grizzlies of the Frontier League promised to create “Baseball’s Best Burger” in time for the team’s opener in late May. And they appear to have succeeded.
The ballpark sandwich will include a hamburger topped with sharp cheddar cheese and two slices of bacon — all between a “bun” of Krispy Kreme Original Glazed donuts.

Two of my favorite foods!

Mmm, sacrilecious… Really though, is it any wonder that North America’s obesity rates are skyrocketing?! They’ll be rolling them outta that stadium this season!

I believe that this burger was first thought up by comedian Jim Gaffigan. At least that was the first that I’ve heard of the possibility of such a thing.

Yeah, that does not sound appealing at all. When I was in college I managed the coffeehouse on campus that was actually really more like a greasy spoon. Anyway, I tried things like a chocolate chip cookie on a hamburger. It tasted dag nasty. You know what *does* taste good on a burger, though? Popcorn. Makes the burger crunchier and saltier.
