Glass Jaw

Rhys Hoskins broke his jaw:

Hoskins left Tuesday night’s game early after fouling a ball off his face. Manager Gabe Kapler informed the media Wednesday that a CT scan revealed a fracture in Hoskins’ jaw and he will now undergo further evaluations.

Hoskins had a strong April, but cooled off over the last month. I suspect pitchers adjusted to him, and this injury might give him the chance to figure out how opponents are getting him out.

It’s one thing to break your jaw, but it’s another to break your jaw then show up the next night and hit a double like Rhys did! Hard to imagine
