The first place Dodgers visit the first place Phillies as Ross Stripling takes on Zach Eflin. Stripling upped his strikeout rate while at the same time reducing his walk rate compared to his first two seasons. That helped him to a 2.08 ERA in 2018 in 95 1/3 innings. Eflin’s walks have remained about the same, but his strikeout increase was tied to a home run reduction, helping him to a 3.15 ERA. He was well over 5.00 in his first two year.

It’s 1970s movie night at Wrigley as Colossus, The Patrick Corbin Project leads the Diamondbacks against Use The Force Luke Farrell. There should be a good breeze at the park as Corbin struck out 149 batters in 122 1/3 innings, while Farrell struck out 37 batters in 28 innings.
