Saturday turned out to be poor for the Massive Tie Scenario as the Rockies beat the Dodgers and the Diamondbacks lot to the Braves in extra innings. The Rockies extend their lead in the NL West to 1 1/2 games over the Dodgers and 2 1/2 games over the Diamondbacks. The probability of a three-way tie drops to 0.0131. The most likely win total for a tie remains at 88. It would help today if the Dodgers and Diamondbacks won.

Note that a three-way tie for the second wild card slot is now a more likely scenario. The probability of St. Louis, Los Angeles, and Arizona tying stands at .0150. If we could get all four into a tie, that would be very disruptive and very cool.
