The Astros traded four prospects to obtain pitcher Zack Greinke from the Diamondbacks:
Those prospects are right-handers J.B. Bukauskas (No. 4) Corbin Martin (No. 5), infielder/outfielder Seth Beer (No. 3) and infielder Joshua Rojas, who is ranked 22nd on the list.
The Diamondbacks will pay $24 million of the $76 million left on Greinke’s contract, according to an MLB source.

So Houston goes into the playoffs with four top-notch starters. They are going to be tough to beat. Greinke pitches well in Houston.
The Diamondbacks get a nice haul in the deal. Beer and Rojas do a great job of getting on base, and Rojas, at seasonal age 25 should be able to move into the majors fairly quickly. Beer hits for power, and is a couple of years from his prime.
Martin is the better of the two pitchers, as Bukauskas walks too many batters. It’s a perfect trade-deadline deal, the Astros going for a championship now, the Diamondbacks stocking up for the future.
