My thoughts go out to the family of John Olerud, who lost his nineteen-year-old daughter to a rare chromosomal disorder:

When I was hosting Baseball Tonight Online in 2001, Tom Candiotti was one of the analysts. Someone asked him who was the nicest player in baseball. Candiotti immediately replied, “John Olerud. I would trust him to baby sit my children, and he has sat my children!” I hope his kind spirit helps him through this tragedy.
