The Cardinals beat the White Sox 5-1 in their return from COVID-19 quarantine. Adam Wainwright pitched five strong innings, allowing one run on two hits and three walks. The Cardinal scored four runs in the first inning and Chicago did not threaten that lead the rest of the game. Like the Marlins, the Cardinals come back strong from their layoff.
