I just watched Triston McKenzie pitch his first MLB inning. His first pitch was a 94 MPH fastball on the lower outside corner. I thought, “Greg Maddux.” As he continued, I did not change my mind. He threw 12 of 13 pitches for strikes, mixing up locations and speed. He got two ground outs and a K to retire the Tigers in order. A very good first inning for the Indians prospect.
