Best Batter Today

Freddie Freeman of the Braves stays at the top of the Baseball Musings Batter Rankings. He goes one for four in the Braves 2-1 win over Washington. In the same game, Trea Turner of the Nationals holds third place, gaining a little on Freeman with a double in four trips to the plate.

One for fours seem to be the flavor of the day as Michael Conforto of the Mets posts the same line to hold second place. Jose Abreu of the White Sox jumps back into the top five with a monster day, going four for four with two home runs, a walk, five runs scored and seven RBI. That was good for a Baseball Musings Game Score of 94, the highest of the day. Manny Machado of the COVID-19 idle Padres rounds out the top five.
