Fried and Keller

Max Fried of the Braves and Brad Keller of the Royals stand as the only two pitchers with at least 25 innings pitched in 2020 not to allow a home run. Note that we are still in the historically high period of three percent of plate appearances resulting in a home run. Even during the PED era, the percent of home runs topped out at 2.99 in 2000. Batters crossed the three mark in 2016 and have not looked back. The 2020 season is producing home runs in 3.50% of PA, second only to 2019 at 3.63. Fried and Keller deserve a lot of credit for their impressive performances.
