The Baseball Musings Batter Rankings have not changed much recently. The order remains Jose Ramirez, Jose Abreu, Marcell Ozuna, Freddie Freeman, and DJ LeMahieu. LeMahieu went two for five with a walk as the Yankees beat the Rays 9-3. Ramirez holds a 14 point lead over Abreu and Ozuna, and it will take a great playoff by the lower three to move into first place. George Springer, four for five with a double on Monday moved into sixth place. There are a number of Dodgers and Padres players in the top 20 that could move up as well.
Carlos Correa posted the highest game score of the day yesterday, a 77 based on his two home runs and a single. He currently ranks 84th.
