The Atlanta Braves advance to the NLCS with a 7-0 win over the Marlins Thursday afternoon. Breaking all tradition of the 2020 post-season, the Braves did not hit a home run. Instead, they used three double and a triple among their ten hits to bring in the runs.

This is the Braves fourth shutout in five post-season games. The Braves threw four shutouts during the 60-game season.

Congratulations to the Braves on knocking out the Cinderella team. I thought the series would be much more competitive. Congratulations to the Marlins as well for exceeding expectations. I can’t wait to see if they can build on this success next season.
