The Nationals land Kyle Schwarber:
Slugging outfielder Kyle Schwarber has agreed in principle to a one-year, $10 million contract with the Washington Nationals, according to a person familiar with the deal.

The $10 million means the Nationals see Schwarber as a bit over a one WAR player. Of course, there may also be a risk premium build into 2020 one-year contracts. The teams may play without fans once again, or a short season without the players agreeing to prorated salaries.
Schwarber posted 5.8 fWAR in the two year previous to 2020, which means if he just bounces back to a 2.0 fWAR season the Nats will do well with this investment. I would not mind being the hitter behind Soto, Schwarber, and Josh Bell as the three will walk a lot. RBI opportunities should abound.
