The top five hitters in the Baseball Musings Batter Rankings remain the same, but the order shifts a bit. Corey Seager of the Dodgers takes the collar in a 5-2 loss to the Padres, but remains in first place. His teammate, Justin Turner, draws a walk for third place. Freddie Freeman doubles, homers, and draws two walks to jump into second place. Ronald Acuna walked in three trips before being removed from the game with an injury.

Acuna drops to fifth place. The Braves beat the Cubs 13-4, the same score the Cubs beat the Braves by the previous day.

Rounding out the top five is Jose Ramirez of the Indians who homered in four trips as Cleveland beat Cincinnati 6-3.

The best game of the day also came on Sunday night for the Braves as Guillermo Heredia posted an 84. He goes three for four with two home runs, six RBI and an intentional walk. Four of the RBI came on a grand slam. Heredia showed very little offensive prowess in his career, so this will be his game to remember.
