Nice Comeback

The Twins dominated the first half of their make-up game in New York, the Yankees dominating the second half. The Twins went with a bullpen game, and held the Yankees to one hit through five innings while Minnesota got to Yankees starter Luis Gil for four runs in the first inning and another in the third. Gil managed six innings, however, and from there the Yankees turned in the type of performance expected from them at the beginning of the season. The bullpen held the Twins scoreless the rest of the way, while Joey Gallo and Aaron Judge delivered home runs. New York won in the bottom of the tenth on a Gary Sanchez single and stay close in the AL Wild Card race.
