Adam Cromie appears to be up for the Mets General Manager job:
Adam Cromie, a former Nationals executive who left baseball in 2017 to become an attorney, is the front-runner for the Mets GM opening, according to industry sources, after receiving multiple interviews from the club. An offer could come from the Mets within the next 24-48 hours, unless team owner Steve Cohen hears something in conversations with Cromie that nixes his candidacy.

I had dinner with Cromie many years ago at a baseball conference hosted by Harvard. I came away very impressed. He appeared to build a great deal of trust with GM Mike Rizzo, which made Rizzo open to any ideas that came from Cromie’s analytics department. I suspect he would do a very good job in New York.
