Delino DeShields makes an appearance as the random Evil Player of the day. DeShields evil comes from his inability to collect extra-base hits. A .246 career hitter, his slugging percentage stands at .342. Only 119 of his 450 hits went for extra bases. He does, however, have the same number of triples as home runs, nineteen. That mitigates his evil a bit.

He did not play in 2020, and only saw action in 25 games during is age 28 season in 2021. He did post a .375 OBP in those games, and maybe when the lockout is over he will sign with someone as a free agent.
