After three days of rather low offense, bats came alive this Sunday. The White Sox beat the Tigers 10-1 as Tim Anderson returned from his suspension to go three for five with two doubles from the lead-off slot.
Tampa Bay trounced Baltimore 8-0 as Wander Franco continued his hot hitting. His three for four with a double gives him a .545/.500/.636 slash line for the season.
Texas and Toronto both hit as the Rangers win 12-6. Nick Solak made his 2022 debut with two walks and two hits, including a home run for the Rangers.
Pittsburgh exploded for nine runs as they beat St. Louis 9-4. Michael Chavis missed the cycle by a triple as he collected three hits and a walk, driving in four runs.
The Guardians poured it on against the Royals, Cleveland taking the game 17-3. Rookie Steven Kwan went five for five with a double and four runs scored, while Jose Ramirez followed him with a three for three with a double and a homer.
The Twins downed the Mariners 10-4, with Byron Buxton hitting two of the Twins six home runs.
