Wright came into tonight throwing curves 33% of the time, versus 16% for his career. He threw 35% curveballs Friday night against the Marlins, striking out eleven batters in six shutout innings to lower his ERA to 1.06. He entered the season with a 6.56 career ERA. The curve is turning him into an elite pitcher.

The Baves lead the Marlins 3-0 in the top of the eighth inning.
