Pirates rookie outfielder Jack Suwinski hits three solo home runs for the Pirates, his final one leading off the bottom of the ninth inning beat the Giants 4-3. Suwinski now owns 34 hits, eleven of which are home runs and a total of sixteen for extra bases. His slash line now stands at .230/.296/.486 in 162 PA. That still a small sample, so we’ll see if he can pull his OBP into more respectable territory. His power comes at a high cost of outs right now.
