The Astros pitchers struck out 20 Angels on Sunday afternoon in a 4-2 Houston win. That tied a record as they are the eighth team to record 20 strikeouts in a nine inning game. That surprised me. I know a number of pitchers have struck out 20 batters in a nine inning game, but I just assumed the team total would be higher. Unlike all the individual 20 K games, all with zero walks, the Astros walked three Angels.
