Welcome to 2023! Here’s looking forward to the first normal baseball season in a while. Of course, rule and schedule changes will make it a bit unusual.
For a minute, I thought 2023 might be a prime number, but it’s divisible by seven, and a multiple of the square of 17, which is pretty cool.
Update: 2023 is the product of a prime and a semi-prime!
2023 is what I call an a(square)b. 17 times 17 is 289 and 289 times seven is 2023. I figured that out all in my head. No baseball season is ever normal, that’s why I love it so much.
