Kyle Freeland of the Rockies takes on his former teammate Jon Gray of the Rangers. The Colorado defense plays well behind Freeland as he allowed just 45 hits in 51 1/3 innings. Opponents put plenty of balls in play, as Freeland owns both low walk and strikeout rates. Gray is similar, and not surprising they have nearly identical ERAs, Freeland a 3.16, Gray at 3.15.

Milwaukee sends Eric Lauer against the Rays and Zach Eflin. Lauer posted a 4.54 ERA so far this season, high for him. He allowed ten home runs in 39 2/3 innings, which given the ability of the Rays to hit the long ball could cause him problems today. Eflin owns an excellent K to BB ratio, with 5 walks and 44 strikeouts in 40 innings.

Finally, Logan Gilbert leads the Mariners against the Braves and Jesse Chavez. Gilbert pitched better than his 3.91 ERA, with an FIP at 2.67. He allowed a .345 BA with runners in scoring position. Chavez makes his first start of the season. He struck out 22 in eighteen relief innings.
