Shohei Ohtani of the Angels joins the top five of the Baseball Musings Batter Rankings. His three for five in a 9-4 win over the Mariners gave Ohtani a .287/.359/.571 slash line for the season. He moved to fifth slot with a .388/.444/.878 line over his last twelve games, which includes eleven extra-base hits. He also struck out just twice.

Freddie Freeman of the Dodgers remains at the top the list after he posted a two for four with a home run in a 7-3 Phillies win. The injured Aaron Judge of the Yankees remains second.

Jose Ramirez of the Guardians sits third after getting a day off on Sunday. Luis Arraez of the Marlins sits in fourth place after a one for five in a 6-5 comeback win over the White Sox. That extends his hit streak to eight games.

Joc Pederson of the Giants earns a game score of 91, the highest of the day, in a 13-3 drubbing of the Cubs. He collected four hits and a walk, homering twice. Pederson is going through the best stretch of his career since joining the Giants, batting .275/.362/.526 since the start of 2022.
