It was a 4=1 game as Chicago took a 4-0 lead on four solo home runs. The Dodgers tied the game with a Chris Taylor grand slam. Los Angeles gains a game on Arizona, who lead a tight three-team race in the NL West by two games.
Jose Ramirez of the Guardians went three for four with a double and a walk to lead Cleveland to an 8-6 win over the Padres. That moves Ramirez past the injured Aaron Judge of the Yankees into third place, Judge falling to fourth place. Ramirez stuck out just 26 times this season.
Ronald Acuna Jr. of the Braves sits in fifth place as he walked and hit a sacrifice fly in an 8-3 win over the Rockies. Acuna drove in an impressive 45 runs batting from the #1 slot.
