It looks like the Diamondbacks got good news on Corbin Carroll‘s injury:

“All early indications are very, very positive,” Lovullo told Arizona Sports 910 AM on Friday afternoon. “To the point where he’s in there taking a couple of swings right now, testing it out, seeing how it feels. There’s potential for him to be playing a lot sooner than later — and, I mean, a lot sooner. We’re going to keep our fingers crossed that he continues to check boxes and feel good enough to get back in the lineup.”

Carroll posted great sophomore statistics so far, with a .290/.365/.559 slash line. On top of all that, he is 24 for 26 when stealing bases. Just an all around great season that helped put Arizona in first place.
