He went four for five with a home run in a 2-0 win over the Astros. His solo shot in the third was all that was needed for the win. Rodriguez posted a 13 for 16 with two doubles and two home runs in his last three games. Third place Kyle Tucker of the Astros did not play due to illness.

Matt Olson of the Braves remains in first place despite an 0 for 5 in a 4-0 win over the Giants. He did drive in a run. His teammate, Ronald Acuna Jr. went one for five to drop to fifth place.

Mookie Betts of the Dodgers homered in two trips to the plate in an 11-3 Marlins win, the Dodgers win streak over at 11. The game was out of hand early, and the Dodgers gave Betts and others a chance to rest before today’s double header. The top seven in the rankings are now separated by just ten points.
