Alvarez went two for three with a walk, both hits home runs. He collected nine hits in twenty six at bats this post season, eight of those hits for extra bases. That’s good for a 1.261 slugging percentage. The Rangers, however, took the game 5-4.
Bryce Harper of the Phillies moves up to third place as he produced the second highest game score of the day, a 70. Harper went two for three with a walk and a home run in the 5-3 win over the Diamondbacks. His teammate, Trea Turner, singled and doubled in four trips and ranks fifth.
