Trea Turner of the Phillies moves up to third place in the Baseball Musings Batter Rankings with a home run and two walks in a 10-0 pounding of the Diamondbacks. The Phillies go up two games to none in the NLCS. He squeaks ahead of his teammate, Bryce Harper, one for four with a walk in the game.

The idle Yordan Alvarez of the Astros remains in first place, with Juan Soto second. Aaron Judge drops to fifth place.

Kyle Schwarber of the Phillies produced the best game score of the day, a 77. He went two for three with a walk and two home runs. He now ranks 44th. Schwarber is the Ken Phelps of the post season, for his career batting .239/.359/.533 with 18 home runs, 35 walks, and 59 strikeouts in 197 at bats.
