Kudos to Astros pitcher Hunter Brown, who might turn out to be the hero of the ALCS. Houston had to go to their bullpen early after using their three best relievers on Wednesday. Interviewed during the game, Dusty Baker said he hoped Brown could give them some innings. He did just that, shutting out the Rangers for three innings as the Astros offense put the game out of reach. That means the Astros are going into game five in a tied series with all their best reliever ready to go.
