Corey Seager of the Rangers breaks from his slump with a solo home run from the second slot to give Texas an early 1-0 lead over the Astros. The hits then keep coming as the next four hitters reach base with a walk and three hits, as the Rangers take a 3-0 lead with just one out in first.

Adolis Garcia did showboat on his hit, standing at the plate as the ball hit the wall in leftfield, and he ended up with a single. He did make up for the gaffe by stealing second, one of two steals in the inning.

Cristian Javier faces just six batters and is pulled from the game.
