Jackson County (Kansas City) voters turned now a new tax to pay for stadiums for the Royals and Chiefs. Good for the voters! It’s also good that the no vote was a landslide at 58%, which should make it tougher for politicians to find away around the vote. It’s time for the Royals and Chiefs to pay for their own structures. Maybe a renovation of Kaufman Stadium is the way to go.
