Saturday brought a slight change to order of the top five of the Baseball Musings Batter Rankings. Mookie Betts of the Dodgers went three for five with two RBI to help defeat the Padres 5-2. That moves him into third place, ahead of his teammate, Shohei Ohtani Ohtani walked twice to rank fourth.

Juan Soto of the Yankees went one for seven with a home run and three walks in a doubleheader sweep of the Guardians to remain in first place. On the other side, Josh Naylor posted a two for five with three walks to rank fifth.

Yordan Alvarez of the Astros rounds out the top five as he posts a two for three with two walks in a 9-2 win over the Rangers. He remains in second place.

The best game score of the day goes to Pete Alonso of the Mets, an 85. He ends the game against the Royals 3 for 3 with a walk and two home runs, but Kansas City takes the game 11-7. Alonso is on a tear right now, with four multi-hit games in a row. That moves him up to 41st on the list.
