Tyler Alexander of the Rays just finished five perfect innings against the Blue Jays. He struck out four batters so far, throwing 59 pitches. There is no score in the game. It’s on Apple TV if you have that service.

Update: The Rays score three runs in the top of the sixth, and Alexander retires the three batters he faces in the bottom of the inning. He’s still perfect, and the Rays lead the Blue Jays 3-0. Alexander is at 70 pitches.

Update: The Rays score a fourth run in the top of the seventh, and once again the Blue Jays go down 1-2-3 in the bottom of the inning. Alexander is using his defense, as he still has just four strikeouts and is at 93 pitches, as the top of the Jays order made him work that inning.
