Only two of the top five hitters in the Baseball Musings Batter Rankings saw action on Monday. Jose Ramirez of the Guardians went two for five with two doubles in an 8-6 Rockies win. Ramirez ranks as one of the best doubles hitters since he entered the majors in 2013, along with Charlie Blackmon of the Rockies, who posted the highest game score of the day, a 78. Blackmon also hit two doubles, but added a home run as well.

Kyle Tucker of the Astros drew a walk in a 3-2 Mariners win to hold fourth place. Aaron Judge and Juan Soto of the Yankees rank 1-2 respectively, while Shohei Ohtani of the Dodgers moves back into fifth place after Vladimir Guerrero Jr. of the Blue Jays goes 0 for 3 with a walk in a 5-1 win over the White Sox.
