He did something similar two starts ago at the Cubs walking four and striking out eight in five innings, allowing two runs but only one earned. He didn’t get a decision in that game either. Walks are where Morton is showing his age, as his average is over four per 9 IP since the start of 2023, 3.34 for his career.
