The Reds, now in second place in the NL Central, try to reach .500 as they host the Cubs, Cincinnati owning a seven game win streak. Shota Imanaga takes on Frankie Montas. Imanaga brings a 1.88 ERA into the game, but his a few innings short of qualifying for the NL leader board. He failed to get out of the fifth inning in his last two starts. Montas does poorly at getting ground balls when he needs one, with just one double play induced in 31 opportunities.

The Sunday night game wraps up the Dodgers at the Yankees, Los Angeles going for a sweep of their long-time interleague rival. Tyler Glasnow battles rookie Luis Gil. Glasnow, thanks to 11.7 K per 9 IP, limited batters to just 49 hits in 80 innings. Gil leads the AL in ERA with a 1.82 mark. He also blows batters away with 11.03 K per 9 IP and just 30 hits allowed in 69 1/3 innings. Note that most of the big guns on the Yankees fare poorly against Glasnow.
