With a light schedule, the best pitching matchup belongs to the Rangers at the Angels. Jon Gray takes on Davis Daniel. Gray reduced his home runs and walks compared to 2023, but only brought his ERA down a tick. He traded the reduced walks for more hits allowed. The backward named Daniel joined the rotation after a relief cup of coffee in 2023. Last season, he walked nine batters in 12 1/3 innings. This year, his control is excellent as he walked just one in 13 1/3 innings.
