The Athletics beat the Angels 8-2 Saturday afternoon for a three-game win streak. These games were not close as they beat the Phillies 18-3 going into the All-Star Break, and opened with a 13-3 win over the Angels. That’s 39-8 in their last three games. The out hit their opponents 40-19, out homered them 12-3, and are 16 for 25 with men in scoring position. They can still win 100 games. It would be nice to see them go out with a bang.
