Jake Burger of the Marlins continued his hot hitting Sunday afternoon with a three for four game against the Padres, including a home run. That helped Miami take the game 7-6. Burger struggled through his first 66 games, posting a poor .215/.254/.348 slash. Starting July 6th, however he’s slashed .330/.395/.739 with 38 hits, 18 extra base hits, and 30 RBI. It hasn’t helped the Marlins much, since they are 14-17 in that time.
