The only change in the Baseball Musings Batter Rankings comes from the return of Yordan Alvarez of the Astros. He moved back into fifth place with a two for four game in the 3-1 Tigers win. His double set up the the Astros only run of the day. We won’t see much action at the top until the bye teams get going.

Brice Turang of the Brewers posted the best game score of the day, a 64. Turang went three for five with two doubles in the Mets 8-4 win. His second wild card game was better than his first in which he went 0 for 3 with a walk against the Diamondbacks.
