Mets Break on Top

After getting shutout for seven innings by Zack Wheeler of the Phillies, the Mets score six runs in the last two innings to take game 6-2. They recorded one hit against Wheeler, seven against the four Phillies reliever. None of the Mets hits went for extra bases, but they went four for seven with runners in scoring position.

The Mets uses two starters and three relievers to hold the Phillies at bay. Kyle Schwarber (lead off home run) and Bryce Harper combined to reach base five times, half of the Phillies earned times on.
