The Royals beat the Yankees 4-2 to send the series to Kansas City tied at one. All four LDS matchups are now tied at one, so each series will go at least four games. I dislike sweeps.

The Royals use a single big inning, scoring four runs in the fourth while Cole Ragans and the bullpen kept the Yankees offense at bay. Salvador Perez hit a solo home run to get the Royals on the board, but other wise they chipped away at the Yankees with 10 singles and two walks. Carlos Rodon gave up all four runs for the Yankees.

I thought all four of these series were tough to call, and so far that looks true.
