Francisco Lindor of the Mets joins the top five of the Baseball Musings Batter Rankings with a double and a grand slam in the 4-1 victory over the Phillies that clinched a trip to the National League Championship Series. Lindor posted excellent numbers so far in the 2024 playoffs with a .259/.382/.481 slash line. He moves into fifth place.

Aaron Judge and Juan Soto of the Yankees remain first and fourth respectively. Judge walked once in five trips to the plate has his post-season slump continues. Soto walked twice and hit a sacrifice fly. Their teammate, Giancarlo Stanton, posted the highest game score of the day, a 72. He went three for five with an RBI double and a late solo home run that proved to be the game winner in the 3-2 win over the Royals.

Note that the top MVP candidates in the AL, Judge and Bobby Witt Jr.are not covering themselves in glory in the post-season this year.

Shohei Ohtani of the Dodgers now sits just three points out of first place after a one for three with two walks in the 8-0 win over the Padres that forces a game five in Los Angeles on Friday.
