Luis Gil pitched four decent innings for New York, allowing two runs but just three hits. In a game that I thought might be decided by walks, the Guardians pitchers have yet to issue a base on balls, while Cleveland batters walked three times.

Update: In the top of the sixth, Juan Soto walks, Aaron Judge singles, and Jazz Chisholm bunts them over for Giancarlo Stanton. Stanton hits a long home run, and the Yankees extend their lead to 6-3.
